Why am I asking everyone for ideas?

With the help of Becs, the group Antigonish Vision for the Arts (AVA)

Having the public join the conversation really helps to change things from friends talking about a shared dream over coffee to something that may actually happen. So what exactly do we hope will happen? We hope that the future will bring us an arts center for Antigonish and the surrounding area for community members to learn, create and experience the arts. That is why we chose "Create, Learn, and Experience" as the tagline for AVA.

For this dream to become a reality, it can't just be one person's dream. It has to be the dream of the community. The dream of Antigonish's writers, actors, singers, painters, dancers, sculptors, creators . . . and their supporters. That is why I am asking everyone for their ideas of what an Arts Centre in Antigonish should look like. If it was left up to just me it would be a place with lots of paint and drawing supplies. So, you can understand why I need the community's help. What the heck would a singer do with lots of pencils??
